Here’s a simple recipe for making iced tea:
Ingredients:
- 4-5 tea bags (black or green tea)
- 8 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar (optional)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
- Mint leaves (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot or kettle.
- Turn off the heat and add the tea bags to the hot water. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- If you like your iced tea sweet, stir in 1/2 cup of sugar until it dissolves. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.
- Add some lemon wedges or mint leaves to give the tea a refreshing flavor (optional).
- Pour the tea into a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
Note: You can also experiment with different tea flavors or add fruit juice to make a flavored iced tea.
