Iced tea

Here’s a simple recipe for making iced tea:

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 8 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (optional)
  • Mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot or kettle.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the tea bags to the hot water. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  4. If you like your iced tea sweet, stir in 1/2 cup of sugar until it dissolves. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.
  5. Add some lemon wedges or mint leaves to give the tea a refreshing flavor (optional).
  6. Pour the tea into a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Note: You can also experiment with different tea flavors or add fruit juice to make a flavored iced tea.
